This summer, Houston's First Cypress is partnering with local Ministry Partners and our church family to help students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn. From July 5–26, we are collecting 750 backpacks that will be distributed to students and families throughout our community.
A new school year brings excitement and opportunity, but it can also create financial strain for many families. Through partnerships with Wlack and Bhite, Cy-Hope, Cypress Assistance Ministries, Cy-Fair Helping Hands, and Boys and Girls Country, we have the opportunity to come alongside local students and provide a practical resource that helps them begin the school year with confidence. Together, we are helping remove barriers for families and ensuring that students start the school year with the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
We are excited to continue our partnership with Wlack and Bhite, a local business dedicated to creating high-quality, durable backpacks. Through this partnership, we can provide students and families facing financial hardship with a backpack they can confidently use throughout the school year. Each backpack includes a one-year warranty, helping ensure that students receive not just a backpack, but a dependable resource for the year ahead.
By working alongside Cy-Hope, Cypress Assistance Ministries, Cy-Fair Helping Hands, and Boys and Girls Country, we can extend our reach and make a greater impact in the lives of students who need encouragement and support as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
