This season, we are celebrating Christmas by being the hands and feet of Jesus locally and globally.

Houston’s First is coming together in unity to serve others through powerful missional opportunities. This is your chance to be part of something bigger, bringing hope, joy, and the love of Christ to those in need.

Fill Shelves, Spread Joy

The Christmas Store

The Christmas Store is a tradition where families from our mission churches, partner ministries, and supported organizations are invited to “shop” for gifts generously donated by you. But more than just presents, these families also hear the life-changing message of the true gift of Christmas, Jesus Christ.

Our Faith Centers serve families in need by offering both tangible help and the hope of Christ. Through their ministry and the support of volunteers, families are reminded that they are seen, valued, and loved.

You are invited to stock our shelves with new, unwrapped gifts. Help us make this season brighter for others!

Simple Gifts, Eternal Impact

Operation Christmas Child

Each year, Houston's First joins with Samaritan's Purse to send gift-filled shoeboxes to children around the world through Operation Christmas Child. These simple boxes, packed with love, bring joy to kids in hard-to-reach places.

By packing a shoebox, you are not just giving a gift; you are planting seeds of faith. You are encouraged to pray over each box you prepare, asking God to open hearts to the Good News of Jesus and to transform entire communities through the power of the Gospel.

Bring Holiday Hope to Local Families

Christmas Assistance Program

At the Cypress Campus, we are partnering with Cy-Hope's Christmas Assistance Program to provide gifts for local schoolchildren. From Nov 9–30, visitors can choose a child's name to sponsor in the main lobby. Sponsors will have the special opportunity to deliver the gifts to the school before Christmas.

Bring the Good News to Others

Translate the Book of Matthew

This Christmas, you can help bring the Word of God to an unreached people group! Through our partnership with The Seed Company, your support will make it possible to translate the book of Matthew into the Kechin language in South Asia (pseudonym used for security purposes). This is one of four languages remaining without any Scripture in this country. Help us eradicate bible poverty so that we may have all scripture, for all people.

There are 1,071 verses in the book of Matthew — help us reach our goal to completely translate the entire book for only $35 per verse at the giving link below. If we surpass our goal, we will be able to further support translation for the books of Luke and Acts.
