About Sika Apaloo

I am a dedicated therapist who combines professional expertise with genuine compassion to support individuals, couples, and families on their journey toward healing and growth. I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Houston Christian University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University.

As a mother of two, I understand firsthand the challenges and transitions that accompany relationships, parenting, and balancing life’s many demands. This personal perspective allows me to foster an empathetic, client-centered environment where each person feels seen, valued, and supported. I specialize in premarital and marital counseling, helping engaged and married couples build strong, lasting relationships rooted in communication, trust, and shared purpose.

I am trained in The Gottman Method (Level 1), Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS), Prepare & Enrich, Neurodevelopmental Attachment Play, and Debriefing. I also serve couples, families, and individuals preparing for, serving on, or returning from the missionary field. Beyond relationship counseling, I help clients navigate communication challenges, trust issues, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions.

My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Existential Therapy, all grounded in a biblical foundation. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their stories, strengthen relationships, and cultivate resilience, purpose, and hope.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
